We help you control TCO right down to IT procurement, deployment and lifecycle management.
When you’re focusing on strategic activities, getting the right equipment at the best price can be a time-consuming challenge. We relieve that pressure by delivering best-of-breed technology, smart-sourced and priced in line with your precise business requirements, along with access to expert services for value-added design, deployment, management and optimisation.
Installs, Moves, Additions, Changes and Disposals (IMACDS)
When you need extra resources for specific tasks, we can provide regionally located engineering services as a complement to our Service Desk and hardware support and maintenance. These multi-vendor hardware services are ready to help you with new configurations, relocations, addition of new services, reconfigurations and removals.
Configure and Deploy
With 5,000 jobs passing through our Configuration Centre every month, we can offer you extensive expertise and economies of scale in configuration and deployment. Our online build queuing system enables you to track your configuration processes. We’ll handle testing in deployment for assured reliability, while saving your time and costs. Examples of services include desktop image application and testing, hardware build and configuration, asset and item registration, notebook bundling, device and user network registration and set-up.
Managed IT Lifecycle
Improve control, lower TCO and risk, and make your IT ready for change through focused asset management. By managing the lifecycle of your desktops in line with the maturity models supported by Gartner and Microsoft, we’ll help you make the most of your assets. We’ll develop a framework that can cover the entire lifecycle, from supply and implementation to support and management services.
Virtualisation – Server, Desktop and Application
We provide virtualisation programmes to cover your entire infrastructure, helping you to reduce data centre costs, improve business agility and reduce your power footprint. Consolidate servers onto a virtual platform and you’ll reduce the need for central provisioning and cut energy costs while improving flexibility and availability of services. The Phoenix Shared Platform increases application availability through virtualised disaster recovery and business continuity options. With an architecture that blends desktop and server virtualisation, you can dramatically reduce costs while increasing the maturity of your IT service. Our expertise is underpinned by our strong relationships with VMware, Microsoft, Citrix, HP and Platespin.
Recycling and Disposals
At end of life we can refurbish old computers and remove, recycle and dispose of your obsolete equipment, providing you with a nationwide green disposals solution that fulfils business obligations to the WEEE directive. We process all unwanted IT equipment through our servicing centre where every computer is completely wiped clean of data under conditions of absolute security. Computers that pass our trialling procedures will then be certified suitable for use and found new homes.
